I’ve been using this recipe since Christmas. I’m on my fourth time making beans. I’ve made Black eyed peas twice and this is my second time with Great Northern Beans. This recipe is bomb every single time. It’s important to not skip the layering or the butter. I normally add half a block of salt pork, but I don’t have any left, the Better Than Bouillon is a great replacement. A little dab’ll do ya 😋😅!
