Mix all ingredients well, then add the cooked chicken and stir. Pour the runny mixture into a
greased 13″x9”x2.5″ baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
Make sure it is fully cooked! The dressing should rise and crack in the middle as well as on the sides when done. Allow at least 2 hours of baking before serving.
Making dressing in advance enhances the flavor as it marinates. You can also freeze it in disposable baking dishes for travel. Refrigerate to thaw, it will take at least 48 hours to thaw in the refrigerator. Day of the meal: mix it well. Pour it into sprayed baking pans. Let the dressing sit at room temperature for 2 hours before baking. Serve with Mama’s Giblet Gravy
