🍰 Which of these forgotten Southern desserts do you remember the most? Did your mama or grandma make any of these? I’d love to hear your memories — share them below so we can all take a trip back in time together. 💕
Why does everybody say Southern desserts sorry but I’m a northern girl and my mother and grandmothers made the best! Don’t get me wrong, I love the southern desserts but us Yankee’s can make great desserts also
There was a chocalate pudding cake my mother would make that we loved. It was made just like a regular cake but when you baked to the cake would rise the the top and pudding would end up at the bottom. It was wonderful warm or cold with whipped cream.
I love your stories! My great aunts still cook like this. Devine memories in Texas
I don’t know whose kitchen you’ve been hanging out in, but I’ve made and/or eaten all but three of these.
